Step 1: Potenza RF Microneedling

Potenza is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that delivers thermal energy through insulated or non-insulated microneedles directly into the scarred dermis. This creates two healing responses simultaneously:

Additional Treatments for Severe Acne Scars

Subcision

For rolling scars with fibrous bands pulling the skin downward, subcision is essential. A specialized needle is inserted under the scar to physically cut the fibrous bands, releasing the tethered skin. This is often combined with filler or Juvelook to prevent the bands from reforming.

Pico Fraxel

Recovery and Aftercare

Numbing cream is applied for 30-45 minutes before treatment. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure with occasional warmth. It is very tolerable.

How many sessions will I need for severe acne scars?

Can I treat active acne and scars at the same time?
